From Awareness to Action! In support of UN Office on Drugs & Crime’s #RiseUp4Peace, students of DPS Faridabad performed ‘Nashe Se Naash Tak’, a compelling play by Team Pehchaan. The play highlighted the harmful impact of substance use, urging students to make wise choices and seek help when needed.

This August, more than 4,200 students and 300 educators and from #India 🇮🇳 and 35 other countries participated in UN Office on Drugs & Crime's practical classroom interventions on themes including integrity and #ethics, mental health, #gender equality & #cyber safety

In schools across #Jalandhar, #Guwahati & other cities, students used #art, street plays and vlogs to promote social awareness for change as part of the #RiseUp4Peace initiative, spearheaded by UNODC South Asia & partners to empower the next generation to embrace positive values.

The #RiseUp4Peace initiative also reached Gaur Mirzamurad, a village 50 km from #Varanasi, where UNODC has been working with the Round Table Abhinav Vidyalaya over the last four years to foster supportive environments for #students.
