Sometimes, the most precious moments are the ones we let slip by in a rush. Slow down, breathe, and cherish the now. Right now is the only time you can actually guarantee and even that is fleeting. Time is the one thing we can’t get back—make it count in the little moments.

People are out dropping big names and arguing over who the best rapper is and I’m like “Who even is that?”

“So cheer up! Take courage, all you who love him. Wait for him to break through for you, all who trust in him!” ~Psalms 31:24 TPT

You cannot force people to value that which is valuable.

God is a mystery; not in the sense of something we don’t know, but rather SOMEONE we will never finish knowing. ✝️ 🙌🏼

Just because you have strength, doesn’t mean you always have to be strong.

Nothing will erode your peace like attempting to control that which is out of your control.

Protect your wisdom. and energy for those humble enough to keep learning and listening. 👇🏼 “So don’t even bother to correct a mocker, for he’ll only hate you for it. But go ahead and correct the wise; they’ll love you even more.” ~Proverbs 9:8

Whoever you become to attract people into your life, is who you’ll have to stay to keep them. Be the person God created you to be and you’ll attract the people who love you for who you are.

We greatly underestimate the necessity and power of forgiveness in our lives.

As long as we withhold forgiveness, those who hurt us hold sway over our heart. We’re stuck at the point of our pain, often left attempting to cope with or numb pain in destructive ways that only causes it to multiply in our heart.

Love, not indifference, softens the hardest of hearts and leads us back Him. Using fear and condemnation may cause someone to temporarily conform, but only Love transforms. “Love makes it impossible to harm another, so love fulfills all that the law requires.” ~Rom 13:10

The same “success” that people will applaud, affirm, and award you for are also the things that can afflict, alienate, and empty your soul. Doing the right things with the wrong “why” will cause you to do the good work of God in a way that erodes the good work of God in you.

God’s grace offends religious pride. That’s why the prodigal came home forgiven, and the older brother stayed outside bitter.

Grace is God sliding into your mess with no “if you clean up first” clause. Religion says “prove it.” Jesus says “I paid it.”

Tomorrow, on day 7 of 92 Days of Prayer, Grace and Purpose Church will gather, much more aware of, and confident in, His glorious and unwavering presence. I wonder how we will experience God together? 🙏🏼🙌🏼✝️ #PrayFirst
