“Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord...” God’s Spirit pours love into our hearts by Baptism and the Word— let’s use this grace to be kind and helping to all, even the ones we live with(Yup, that can be hard some days!) to love Christ thru others!!

“I can do all things thru Christ....” When heaven lets some wild and crazy adventure lurk in our path— remember: God’s grace in Christ thru His Word strengthens us to face it all with joy, as in, “Oh yeah! I can handle this, too!”

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” Christ came to save; He is here now in us by His Word to help us ; & He’ll return to take us all home to Heaven— that’s Advent!

“The Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in his wings....” In Advent we look joyfully to the coming of Christ, & to His presence in our lives by His Word-bringing us hope & grace! Do you feel this grace and uplift here and now? You have it by faith, so relax & rejoice!

“You shall be called treasured, delighted in, beloved....” When you hear God speak, you get a glimpse into His heart— He has true love & Fatherly generosity toward us! That’s why we can live boldly, courageousely, and peacefully. Cast all your care, for He cares! Really!

“My times are in Thy hands, O Lord....” We make our choices and proceed on paths of our choosing, but HE promises that our journey is a blessed and protected one. Either He sweetens the path—or He toughens us so we can enjoy its challenge. Onward, friends, onward in His grace!

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do it in the name of the Lord.” Whether working, serving as preacher & pastor in His Church for His people, or retiring & moving on to new ways of serving, we do it all in Him, for Him, & blest by Him. On with the adventure!

“Leave us alone, O Son of God...” Jesus is present in Gasara and wherever we are, bringing peace & blessings. The Evil one, and sometimes we ourselves, resist the better changes He works. Lord Christ, save, heal , and help us!

“She’s chosen the best part, which shall not be taken from her....” God lifts, blesses, and fills us with power & new joy by the Spirit thru Word & Sacrament. The Word remains to save us— turn to it in hope! Where else can we go?

“For everything there is a purpose under heaven.” HE has a plan, a plan to live, help, and bless us. It’s high time we acted as his loved & protected children! The world we inhabit is a joyful and hopeful place— so rejoice and fret not!

“Look up, for your redemption is drawing near!” Amid threats, changes, and struggles, fear not that our Lord is off the job, that we are alone—He ever blesses, helps, and saves: Thru it all He brings us good things, without & within, keeping His saving promises! Rejoice!

“...Making melody in your hearts, with thanksgiving...” Life goes on, with its ups & downs- But the heart that sees the sweet eternal truth that our loving Father God touches our life to be rich & full by His grace thru the cross, that heart knows to sing & thank every day,

“lo, I am with you always....” No matter what or where, no problem that hits-Jesus promises that He is with us & for us, loving & blessing til we find answers to prayers and solutions we need. He promises not only His presence, but our joy. I know things will work out well!

“If I go to...Are You not there?” When we change to new things, new places & new ministries— God will be there to bless and help us like He always has. More love, more grace! So we’ll be fine. Stop sweating it!

The Lord’s my Shepherd...for His Name’s sake! The ruler of the universe is so proud & jealous of His glory and reputation, He must compulsively keep every promise, bless every soul, & protect Fatherly every Child of His. So, there IS a reason to trust in a love we can’t see!

"Jesus said, 'who are my family? My family are those who hear my words.'" Thank God for Moms & Families; may ours be 1 that hears His word!
