Remember the Alamo! Today marks the 189 anniversary of the Alamo. This morning, I had the opportunity to witness the 189th anniversary dawn ceremony at the Alamo. Did you know 8 Mississippians were part of the 189 men defending the Alamo?

The Alamo fell to Santa Anna on this day in 1836. But in true Texas fashion, brave Texans stood their ground and sacrificed their lives for freedom. We will always #RememberTheAlamo!
