The steam puffer “Auld Reekie” at the Crinan Canal basin, early 1980s. Built for the Admiralty in 1943 she was purchased by Sir James Miller, a former Lord Provost of Edinburgh, in 1968. He named the boat “Auld Reekie” and had her converted to provide basic accommodation for 20
