Happy 25th anniversary to Walking with Dinosaurs, the palaeo-docufiction that really helped pull me into palaeontology! Time of the Titans remains my personal favourite episode, especially because it starred my personal favourite dinosaur: Diplodocus hallorum.

#OTD in 1823, #MaryAnning discovered a fossil in the Lias between Lyme Regis and Charmouth, and excavated it that evening and the next morning. Although unsure of what she had found, after some preparation work she realised that it was the first complete example of Plesiosaurus.
