kasey I’ve met hundreds of writers in nyc from hosting the Olive Tree Writing Club sessions every week! It’s become an easy way for me to see my writing friends often. It’s also a magnet for attracting writers so I make new writing friends pretty often!

A big milestone when you run a community is when members transition from saying “you/them” when referring to the community to saying “we/us”. The change in language means that they see themselves as part of the community now.
