Many congratulations to Dr. Dennis Gregory, an anchor of our Old Dominion University ODU Darden College of Educ & Professional Studies Higher Education program for over two decades, on being awarded one of the highest honors our field has to offer! Join us at #NASPA23 to celebrate 🏆🏆🏆💐💐🥳🥳
And another one! So excited to share this work with Demetri L. Morgan, PhD & Raquel M. Rall where we take a critical look at higher education governance and reimagine what equity-centered governance can be, in research, theory, and practice. Check out the 🧵 and check our the piece!
Our comparative higher education conference with the MARIHE Erasmus program is off and running! After keynotes this morning, this afternoon is devoted to student research presentations and conversations. We are two presentations in, four to come - excellent work by all!
Our conference continues - excellent presentations from the MARIHE Erasmus students on Università di Bologna and our Higher Education master’s students on Old Dominion University. Fact: for many of our students, this is their first international presentation! 🥳
We had a successful conference yesterday at @TampereUni. Thanks once again to the people of MARIHE Erasmus, it was great being in conversation with you all!
Today (live! right now!) HIED 744/844 is meeting with Jerome Rickmann and Rediet Abebe at Aalto University. We are learning about internationalization and strategic planning efforts at Aalto (Felecia Commodore you’re here with us in spirit!!)
Happening now: students and faculty of HIED 744/844 are meeting with representatives from Finland’s Ministry of Education and Culture Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö at the Government Palace, Helsinki.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Dennis Gregory , who has been selected to be a Provost’s fellow focused on the ODU/EVMS integration. He will be working closely with a fellow from EVMS and Dr. Austin Agho, who will be serving as our chief integration officer.
