It’s great to be back in concert season! Being able to play in a brass band for the recital of Professor Aaron Vanderweele from Rutger’s Mason Gross School of the Arts was such a treat!

We were DELIGHTED to perform for the North Plainfield community today at the Fall Festival! Wonderful job again by our students!

Yesterday, the Princeton Brass Band performed at the Mid-Atlantic Brass Band Festival at Rowan University, working with euphonium legends David and Bob Childs! Looking forward to our championships in April!

Shoutout to Ryan Soto for making it into the CJMEA Region Band!!! That makes it NPMS’s THIRD YEAR IN A ROW with students in the Region Band! Additional shoutout to Elisa Padilla, Grace Sokolowski, Theodore Six, and Jacob Mendoza that made the Honors Band! 🎉🎉🎉

Over our spring break, our Winter Color Guard finished their season at MAIN Championships in 6TH PLACE!!! Such incredible growth from our guard this season - we couldn’t be prouder of your successful season! #BEHUGE

This week, the North Plainfield band program made history, starting our first ever North Plainfield Band Festival! The Somerset Band, NPMS Band, and NPHS Band all participated and connected with one another on this HUGE day celebrating our program’s continued growth and success!

What a historic season so far for the Marching Canucks! Before tonight, the Canucks scored 1st at Roxbury High School winning all captions, then scoring 2nd and winning best music at JP Stevens and Monroe Twp! KEEP IT UP CANUCKS!
