It was a day in Wales for our students last Friday for some education visits. KS3 visited the open-air museum Sain Ffagan | St Fagans and KS4 climbed 596 metres up to the top of Sugar Loaf in the Breacon Beacons. We couldn't believe it until we saw the pictures! #followthenorthstar

With the help of Bristol WORKS, we had award winning barber, Aldo, in school today running a barbering workshop. The group discussed barbering as a career path and advice on how students can follow in Aldo's footsteps. One of our students then got a free skin fade...RESULT!

Busy day at NS240° yesterday! ⭐️Avon and Somerset Police delivered their 'Drugs and Staying Safe' sessions. ⭐️Brewhouse & Kitchen gave up their time to talk to us about the apprenticeships and work experience they can offer. ⭐️Bristol WORKS launched our exciting new garden project with @SociusDevUK

North Star 240° FC (KS4 squad) were up against Aspire Academy FC for our first game of the year. It was a great contest to watch, with some very talented footballers on the pitch. A full match report will be released later this week. Futura Learning Partnership

As part of National Careers Week, we commenced our Garden Project with the help of Bristol WORKS, @SociusDevUK and @PRP_News. A group of ambitious students combined with the professionals to start designing and planning the redevelopment of our garden area. Watch this space!
