I’m out this evening with crews from St John Ambulance Cymru - North Wales providing additional support to North Wales Police in various location across North Wales.

St John People will be on hand over the festive period working & volunteering in the heart of communities across Wales. Our people will be working on behalf of the Welsh Ambulance Service & other partners, in addition to providing first aid cover at events all over the country.

New bikerack day at St John Ambulance Cymru HQ. A trip to Wrexham & Deeside talking to Benjamin Savage and our #StJohnPeople about our falls, Adferiad & Mental Health work then onto Deeside to drop off some uniform & visit our division there. Getting out and about meeting real people.

Our St John Ambulance Cymru Aberfan Merthyr Vale building suffered fire damage overnight this week. Thankfully nobody hurt. Thanks for your hard work South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. Unfortunately the building is now unusable.

Todays working day: a 999 call for a fall generated a response by St John Ambulance Cymru under the Welsh Ambulance Falls Response Model, a triage between the APP & Falls Assistant led to myself & Hospital at Home carrying out a face to face assessment, keeping the patient at home to recover!
