Thank you, Phoenix— we did it! Together, we’ve defeated both Prop 105 and 106. Welcome to the Phoenix of the future— where we invest in our transportation, our parks and our libraries, and where Phoenicians, not outside special interests, decide what’s best for our city.

Great news for the city of Phoenix, its long term economic development, and city parks and libraries. This now marks the FOURTH time Phoenix voters have resoundingly approved investments in light rail and transit. Let's move on, shall we? x.com/PHXElections/s…

Good idea. Go celebrate the defeat of Prop 106 in a park! Twice as many Phx voters cast a ballot to reject Prop 106 than voted for it. The reason? Phoenix wants to protect our parks and libraries and senior centers and were smart enough to reject a reckless gimmick like 106.

Hey look what Phoenix did! We ... Protected Light Rail 🚈 by Voting NO on 105 (& won by 25%) Protected our Libraries 📚, Parks 🌵 and Sr. Centers 👵 by Voting NO on 106 (& won by 33%!) Thank you for all your hard work!!

Phoenix neighborhoods across the entire city strongly supported ongoing investment in light rail. I’m not surprised the people of City Council District 6, who I represented for many years and I now represent in Congress, overwhelmingly supported No105No106.

Umm. Mr DicCiccio, remember when every single precinct in your own district voted to #ProtectLightRail just a few months ago? 63% of Phoenix rejected your idea to ditch the rail then, or did you forget? Maybe you just aren’t paying attention?
