Social science intelligence is vital in disease outbreak response. Some important topics including Cultural logics, political economy, policy analysis, vulnerability, communication, etc. where discussed during this Social Science in Humanitarian Action Platform skill building training.
Our Executive Director, Dr Philippe Duneton, met with @JeanKaseya2 (Director General, Africa CDC), Muhammad Ali Pate (Coordinating Minister for Health, Federal Ministry of Health, NIGERIA) & Peter Piot (Special Advisor on COVID-19 to the European Commission President) to discuss global health and regional manufacturing.
