Half-time in Prostate United. In a football match that would be 45 minutes, the same time that sees prostate cancer claim another man’s life. I’m running 5k every day during October to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK. Thanks for all the donations so far. bit.ly/StuProstateUni…

The parallel between Sir Chris Hoy and my own diagnosis is remarkable. He had a sore shoulder and I had groin strain. He was an elite athlete and I was training for an ultra marathon. Maybe if he’d been tested from 45 and me from 50 we’d both have had better outcomes Prostate Cancer UK
The pitch yesterday looked unplayable before the game so once again Luton Town FC groundsmen team did a magnificent job to get the game on. Tbh how they sorted the pitch from waterlogged to playable is simply incredible.
