🇪🇺🤝🇬🇧 Where there is a will, there is a #deal - we have one! It’s a fair and balanced agreement for the EU and the UK and it is testament to our commitment to find solutions. I recommend that #EUCO endorses this deal.

Why MPs shouldn't trust Boris Johnson 1. He's trying to bounce them - a classic conman's tactic. 2. If they read the small print, they'll see his promise to maintain standards is not legally binding - a second classic tactic 3. He's Boris Johnson politics.co.uk/comment-analys…

Johnson almost identical to May. "Today is the day to put aside our differences and get this thing done". Same rhetoric, same appeal, just a few months later. Worse hair.

Reminder. If this passes, Johnson will have to write to the EU to request another extension. Then, probably next week, he will have to put down legislation implementing the deal. And only if that passes, will Brexit happen.

If this does not pass, then we are in the death zone: A vote on the deal, yes or no. If it's yes, Brexit is happening. If no, Johnson must extend Article 50, and - most likely - we're on for a general election.

OK so put aside any euphoria. That vote was one with 8 MPs. That means the DUP were vital to it. But it means something else too. There are probably more than eight Purged Tory pro-dealers, who backed the amendment. It suggests that the deal would pass.

I remain a little suspicious that the govt will bring forward the WAB in the time available before then. Quite mad to do so of course, and completely against their commitments not to do so, but neither of those things are barriers to them doing things.

Well, today I found myself refusing necessary medical treatment because I've lost my insurance cover & can't afford the cost out-of-pocket; and I can confidently say this is the most American I have felt since I got here.

I think it may say something about just how into Twitter I got circa 2012-16, that even after 9 months barely tweeting my profile is still saying I average 8 tweets per day...🤔

I say this as a person who once played a very very loud scream SFX in the middle of a quiet & beautiful onstage moment due to 'fat finger syndrome'...but whoever's doing the in-arena crowd spot-FX for these NHL playoffs is not at the top of their game.
