If I see one more piece of hot weather advice for the vulnerable mention fans I’m going to explode, many vulnerable people are on limited incomes and can’t afford the power to run a fan!!!

Ok been up for 5hrs to get stuff done before the sun appeared, now retreating back to bed.

Can I suggest if you know anyone who is reliant on supermarket deliveries and in the red warning area for hot weather check on them, a lot of the supermarkets are struggling to deliver in the heat.

Can I just say how impressed I was by our electricity company tonight, we had a surprise power cut and writhing 5mins they were on the phone to check we were ok due to us being listed as vulnerable and continued to update us through the evening. Power now back on thankfully.
