The world is at war. A great endeavor happens in secret in New Mexico. And you are a horrible goose. (Thank you for sharing this with me Nimby // Chris)

Your CI/CD pipeline should start on the developer's laptop. If it only starts after a git push, you're slowing your team down and throwing money down the drain. CI/CD "shift left" is the lowest-hanging fruit for engineering efficiency in teams of 20+ engineers IMO.

WHY do we divide by n-1 when computing the sample variance? I've never seen this way of explaining this concept anywhere else. Read on if you want a completely new way of looking at this.

Just pushed a minimal "blink the neopixel" example for the QT Py RP2040 dev board given that I couldn't actually find one. Also, the PIO thing on the the RP2040 is very slick. github.com/nickappleton/q…

You can use Blender's geometry nodes to solve physics and electromagnetic equations such as Biot-Savart law. You can calculate the magnetic field of a coil anywhere in 3D space and visualise the magnetic fields. Additionally, you can see in real-time how the magnetic field lines

relaxing with kicad for the first time in years. i swear its a kind of therapy, then the board arrives and you have to code stuff and it all gets undone! still, the rp2040 is *such a nice chip* to route for. I was able to do this one in almost entirely 1 layer, almost no vias.
