The Cincinnati Reds are calling up Connor Phillips from AAA-Louisville according to Gordon Wittenmyer. Phillips was converted to a reliever and has a 3.21 ERA in 14.0 IP at AAA. He has only allowed 1 run over his last 10 appearances (0.87 ERA). Phillips fastball has hit 99 MPH at AAA.

#Reds make a bunch of roster moves: Connor Phillips takes the spot of Wade Miley on the roster—who was put on the IL. Chase Petty has been placed on the taxi squad, presumably to take Miley's spot in the rotation. Noelvi Marte is also starting a rehab assignment in Arizona.
