So let me see if I have this right. The only party giving people the option of getting out of their cars is the party being blamed for traffic. Party's promising the ring road know they cannot deliver so they blame the Greens because they have nothing else to offer.

Today the free contraception scheme expanded to include women aged 32-35, meaning over 600,000 women now have free access to contraception at GPs & pharmacies across Ireland. This scheme was part of the program for government we negotiated, and we're glad to see it delivered.

Terrible headline - it clearly should read "Galway needs 50% more allotments to meet demand". The fact that fewer people applied tells us nothing if we do not know how many got one the last time. Connacht/CityTribune

It says a lot about how emotive the topic 'turf' is when this article talking about the possible health damage caused by burning it was written without once saying the word 'turf' irishtimes.com/environment/cl…

Other cities should get their own versions of the DART. Which city should get it first; Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford? (sorry Kilkenny polls are limited to 4 cities)

100%. FF and FG have shown their true colours here. Even the cynic like me who sees an election coming has to ask if there are votes in this. So few speculators. FF FG claim it is for the farmers, but so few farmers would have been impacted ( unless they were also speculating)

With all the recent media discussion about changes to the Quays in Dublin, Senator O'Reilly reminds us to that we have to stay on track with planned public transport improvements in Galway.

The Dail bike shed was a shocking overspend. It got huge press coverage. Far less coverage happened when Galway City CEO said in 2022 that more car parking in the new City Hall at Crown would beach national guidelines and then went on to pay 1.5millon for another 100 car spaces.
