#ANZBMS2023 was a fantastic event, featuring a lot of interesting research. Our lab presented 8 innovative research projects at the meeting and received one Young Investigator Award.

This year is my first participation in #ASBMR2023 following the post-covid era. My lab contributed 7 research pieces and was honored to receive two Young Investigator Awards. :)

Having reviewed many grant and professorial applications I come to the view that the relevance of Australian science may diminish when most researchers celebrate publications and grants over translation or impact.

Our initial work on sarcopenia in Vietnam has now been published. The APC exceeds 5000 USD, quite a significant amount. I believe the scientific publishing industry is in dire need of reform.

I am pleased to introduce a new AI-based system for identifying vertebral fractures in X-ray films. I’m looking for colleagues to validate this system.
