Today the North Glasgow Strollers were divided into two groups.... Some done a 5 mile walk in Cyprus and and the rest of us walked along the canal for 5.5 mile. We also had some birthday celebrations for Mia's big 16th. The photo on the left is the maryhill walk 😄

This Sunday at 9:30 the group will be meeting at the Campsie memorial hall Lennoxtown (G667HA, FREE parking). We will be taking in the beautiful shoenstatt and the Campsie fells. Everyone is welcome to join us (approx 4.5 miles walk, all flat) FREE refreshments afterwards.

Due to storm Amy and the flooding warnings for Glasgow,we have took the early decision to CANCEL Sundays walk! On Sunday Father Gannon of saint Philomenas will do our raffle draw for the Celtic or Ibrox stadium tour and 3 course meal for 2 people. Still time to get involved

Thanks everyone who took part in our raffle to give over 100 pensioners a party that includes a fish supper, gateux,drinks and top entertainment all for FREE. We raised a whopping £892. Thanks to Ryan Dakhil and his family for sponsoring this and all his support he's given us.

Massive congratulations to Stephen Macdonald who wins today's raffle and he will be going to Celtic park for a tour and a 3 course meal. As we raised £192 over our target we also done a second draw for £20 and that was won by Robert Duffy. Thanks so much to all that took part!
