It's 5+ weeks to book routine bloodwork that we used to be able to do at ACH before/after one of our many appointments there. Now we need a separate trip to a separate site, plus associated time off work/school, for some reason.

I hate fixed election date laws, it feels like we're on day 120 of the longest election campaign ever with like 40 days still to go.

“The stated promise of the ASI was simple: with more providers in play, surgery numbers would go up and wait times would sink to tolerable levels. Three years later, the data shows that a very different scenario emerged from the initiative.” edmontonjournal.com/opinion/column…

Voted! Took three minutes, tops. You can vote at any advanced voting location regardless of your riding: map.elections.ab.ca/LocMethod.aspx…

A family blood test this afternoon. Even with an appointment, the wait time is 30+ minutes. And the place is absolute chaos. That alone should be an election issue in Calgary. Which brainiac thought it was a good idea to transition from Calg Lab Services to this bloody Dynalife?

Update on private health care under the UCP: Chris Smith gave out my wife's medical information to a third party without consent, and allowed said party (who is not involved in her care) to cancel her appointment. Rebookings are still more than a month out for routine bloodwork.

Days after the election, it's confirmed that taxpayers will put in 97% of the upfront arena cost in exchange for ZERO revenue. ZERO. Mayor and #yyccc sold us out to CSEC for a UCP campaign stunt. And they didn't just sell out for cheap. They sold us out for nothing.
