What was the deal with that band Rough Spring? I saw them play with Brian Rothenbeck + The Adventuring Party in jersey city, bought a 7" and have loved it ever since. Do they have more records? Do they wanna play shows?

I think people are gonna be surprised by us sounding like early cocaine era Black Sabbath trying to play mid 80s New York Hardcore on our new record.

We're big fans of writing a pre chorus that doesn't lead into a chorus. Basically we're all just ripping off Converge's song, "Jane Doe." The perfect example of a massive buildup that just keeps going, because that's all life is.

One of the coolest things ever is when you see a dude in a newish band and he's dressed kinda normal, then the band gets a little bump and the next time you see him he looks like 17% cooler, and it's like, you shoulda just worn the leather jacket the whole time.

I love you dudes but I just heard the masters for our new record and I'm not sure that any of you are ready for it, or even really deserve it at this point.

I sat North End Recording yesterday for an hour listening to Chris Skel and company rehearse through a wall and I'm not sure if NJ is ready for Graveyard Ghost Stories. It's so, so good.

I love my new Chris Skel shirt so much that I was like "I'd get a tattoo of this" and then I realized that I've been down this road before and it just ends up with me having a tattoo and a t shirt I can't ever wear again.
