Update from Nathaniel Rosenberg: during Vahey’s arraignment this afternoon, prosecutors said Vahey had a prior DUI conviction. In 2009, he was arrested with a 0.20 BAC while driving the wrong way down Pine near 10th. Record was expunged after completing alcohol treatment program.
