Per KHOU, the burning odor/hazy conditions in Houston this morning are caused by wildfires in west Texas. An overnight wind shift brought the conditions to our region. There is no significant impact to Nassau Bay at this time. Visit khou.com/amp/article/we… for more info.

Driver advisory: The City of Nassau Bay is aware of a traffic light outage at the intersection of Nassau Bay Drive and NASA. TxDOT is responsible for maintenance of this signal and has been notified. Drivers may wish to seek alternate routes until repairs are completed.

City of Nassau Bay Public Works Department crews are mobilizing to conduct emergency water leak repairs on Antigua. While repairs are conducted, water service may be interrupted to surrounding residences. We will provide updates when available and apologize for any inconvenience

UPDATE - Tuesday, 8AM - Public Works crews have resumed work this morning at the water leak site in the Antigua/ Boothbay area. After working last night, the department restored water pressure to the majority of area homes. We appreciate the patience of our impacted residents.

Due to unforeseen issues repairing a major water leak at 1602 Boothbay (in the Antigua area), Nassau Bay Public Works will be shutting off water IMMEDIATELY in the areas of Martinique Drive, Kingstown and a small section of Boothbay. Please see map for more info. Repairs: 5-6 hrs

The City of Nassau Bay Public Works Department is conducting an emergency water leak repair on the 18500 block Martinique Drive. While repairs are being conducted, water service may be interrupted to approximately 15-20 surrounding residences on Martinique.

City contractor Lopez Utility Contractors working on a water main leak on Barbuda and Basilan Ln. The contractor will install a new two-inch water valve in order to complete the repairs. Work is scheduled to last 4-5 hours, water service may be interrupted to surrounding homes.
