My/our (science is a team effort) paper on a complete #genome resource of the #oakwilt fungus, #Bretziellafagacearum, has been accepted in The American Phytopathological Society PhytoFrontiers, with minor revisions suggested! #nuclear #mitochondrial #chromosomes🧬🍄


My samples are ready to cross borders! 🇺🇸🇨🇦 In collaboration with Philippe Tanguay Natural Resources, we're using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) to detect #Bretziellafagacearum (#oakwilt fungus) on insect vectors 🪲 & within host tissues 🌿. 🔬🐞🌳🍄 #Detection #ForestPathology
