Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung was a wonderful reunion of current and former coworkers and alumni. It was a pleasure to reconnect with so many friends. It was an honor to have been part of Prof. Dr. Katharina Landfester Group.

I have met 'real' membrane technologies at EMI at the University of Twente and visited their well-equipped laboratories. The white hydrangeas of Enschede made this beautiful experience even more unforgettable. A heartfelt thanks to ozlem kap for making this experience possible!
