Laurens’ father owns a small business in Iowa. His American employee donated a kidney to save him. She recognizes something in them that the American government has failed. They must be doing something right, but sadly can’t become US citizens even after decades here. (2/4)

I am very grateful for all of the Iowa representatives who have cosponsored and continue to support the America’s Children Act. Thank you, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., Ashley Hinson, Congressman Zach Nunn, Rep. Randy Feenstra, and Joni Ernst for recognizing this issue and cosponsoring this bipartisan bill.(3/4)

In consideration of any immigration administrative actions, President Biden, Homeland Security and USCIS need to make this a priority. Fyi, if DACA had not *required* one to *be undocumented* to qualify, Laurens and thousands of others could have stayed. Please rectify mistakes of the past.(4/4)

Lawmakers are urging the Biden administration to do more to protect children of employment-based visa holders at risk of aging out of legal status. They say DHS should use tools like deferred action and parole to get relief to documented dreamers news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-re…

Every day without action results in young adults, who have been lawfully raised in the United States by skilled workers and small business owners, to be forced to leave the country, separating them from their families and stopping their ability to contribute to our country.

The economic case is clear, the moral case is clear, and it’s common sense. With bipartisan support, this must be prioritized in any executive action consideration. Thank you Senator Alex Padilla, Congresswoman Deborah Ross, and Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. for leading 45 members of Congress on this urgent letter.

Roshan was forced to self-deport from the United States the day after this was filmed, despite having grown up here with a lawful status. He works for a semiconductor company, which will now employ him in another country. The US lost a taxpayer, he lost his family and his home.

A federal court’s wild interpretation of “relief” in the Real ID Act will have severe repercussions for any attempt by a legal immigrant to challenge the government’s interpretation of AOS statutes in federal courts. Never thought breaking the law would be a requirement. “And,

The point of judicial review prior to a court ruling on the validity of a challenged statute of law makes sense for someone who is undocumented. How does it make sense for someone who has never been undocumented? Clearly, that cannot be the intent of Congress.
