Mueller celebrated Black History Month today with a wax museum and program! Our 4th and 5th grade students did wonderfully in their sharing. It was a day filled with learning and gratitude for the history this culture has added to our country! #wpsproud

We kicked off Read Across America Week with guest readers! It was so fun to see community members reading with our scholars to encourage a love for reading. On Tuesday, wear bright/neon colors to represent our bright futures!

Today we got to honor our paraprofessionals on their special day!! Our paras at Mueller are incredible. They show up every day for our students! They’re in multiple classrooms and supporting with various subjects through each day and do it all with love and a smile. #wpsproud

Kindergarten and 1st grade had their concert "Llama Llama Nighty Night" tonight. They got to dress up in their pajamas for the concert and brought a lot of energy during their performance. We are so proud of all the hard work they have put in!! Way to go, Mueller Jets!

Girls On The Run is so much fun!! Team Mueller showed up and showed out at the 5K over the weekend. The girls were pumped and ready to go. A huge shout to all the staff and parents that supported them! #wpsproud

Summer Readers, Future Leaders 📚 While it may be the end of the school year, we know 2,786 students who are ready to become summer reading champions! Thanks to support from our generous community, Go Shockers & Champions for Literacy, over $25,000 was raised for United Way’s childhood

Congratulations to our staff who celebrated longevity milestones! Mrs. Coleman, Mrs. Sanders, and Mrs. Claros all have worked at USD 259 for 10 years! Though they’re not pictured, we want to celebrate Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Johnson for their 20 years with Wichita Public Schools!

Mueller staff and their families celebrated the end of the school year together at Chicken N Pickle this weekend. It has been a fantastic year and we wish everyone an amazing summer!
