Yes!!! This reminded me to again ask our newest newcomer, what do you need? He needed new shoes, his were 2 sizes too big. I emailed the coach and they were in his hands in 30 mins (thank you Nike Outlet in Foley for sponsoring our school!) then we taught him how to tie shoes.🤍

Lucky to have the best students who remember their 4th grade teacher, and that they have thoughtful 7th grade teachers who encourage their students to take the time to write letters to former teachers.

Their newest math center-Candyland. I was telling them I wasn’t sure what to use for individual accountability (I don’t want to create another to do for Ts) & a student suggested using their workbook to solve problems or just using lined paper. Which, of course! They’re the best.

The best part - 2 of my other 5th grade boys who happen to be of Catholic faith helped me make this when I brought up that read across America en español needed to go.
