On Jan 6, violent insurgents attacked our Capitol and the heart of our democracy.  Investigating it must be a bipartisan imperative. But Trump's GOP is loyal only to him— not our democracy or Constitution. Make no mistake: We will have a full accounting. With or without them.

If we end the filibuster, we can strengthen voting rights, pass universal background checks, raise the minimum wage, and more. We can protect our democracy, and we can make progress on the urgent issues Americans elected us to address. Let's get it done. End the filibuster.

The AG shouldn't have to be convinced to investigate seditious attacks. The CDC shouldn't have to be convinced to save lives. Congress shouldn't have to be convinced to protect voting rights. It's ominous, and telling, that they don't WANT to protect the US and its people.

Violence is our culture. Culture is the intersection of people and how they deal with life. America has decided violence, particularly gun violence, is acceptable because nothing changes even as we see mass shootings almost daily.
