Advisory is in full swing Teays Valley East MS! We spent time talking about our norms and what we can expect when we meet together. Looking forward to this year with this group of great kids.

Make conferencing a thing in your classroom! I ask the students a specific question and have them leave a post it as an exit ticket. I match the post-its up based on need/growth on the skill. Once they are sorted, I have 5-7 small conferring groups! Easy as that!

My classes have earned a new badge on Epic! They started their reading journey with Epic at the beginning of the year and it has really taken off! I’m very proud of the readers they have become!

I love using classroomscreen.com! It is a quick & easy way to organize info for students to reference during their work time. I can plan what I want on my board the day before & then present it when I need it!

We had a discussion about what makes a great classroom environment. I told them what I need from them and they filled out their own pie chart for what they need from me and their peers. We combined our ideas and we now have a balanced set of norms to follow! Teays Valley East MS
