One of the topics I teach in Consumer Math is home renovations. Today in class, while introducing a Home Renovation project, a student sent me a private message to ask, 'what if a student doesn't live in a house? What if a student lives in a shelter?' 😨

We've released improvements to the Graspable Math notation! ✨ Number 1: Support for the division symbol "÷". This has been on our list for a long time, and of course it includes new gestures to work with division, too. Try it yourself here: activities.graspablemath.com/whiteboards/_f…

Teach a simple concept like writing the equations of circles, add a Desmos design element for students to demonstrate their understanding, and be amazed at what they create. teacher.desmos.com/activitybuilde… desmos.com/calculator/cbp…

I have a request, Gonzalo mathias and Desmos. Can we add back the "erase" button for constructions on Mathigon constructions that sync with Desmos Activities? Thank you!

Check out the latest MTLT Illuminations lesson based on the article, “Assessing Student Understanding with a Book Project". Students will create a rate graph, calculate and identify values from the graph, and then use the values to create a story: nctm.link/sv2IC
