Charles P. Allen High is closing for the day. Families have been notified. Students will be dismissed shortly. Buses are on their way to the school now. We will provide another update before end of day. All students are safe and there is currently no threat to public safety.

There has been a change in plans for Charles P. Allen students this afternoon. Principal Classes are cancelled, based on recommendations from HRCE’s Crisis Team. The school will be open and supports are available for any student who wishes to talk.

Wow! Seeing Mr.Rodgers at CPA today was the absolute best feeling. 💕 Ms. Light was released from hospital today too. So grateful to CPA students & staff, HRP, paramedics, VG and QEll. Thank you to our community and HRCE schools for the love … and treats and much needed coffee.

All HRCE schools will delay opening by 2 hours today, Thurs., April 6. Bused students will be picked up 2 hours later than regular time, lunch and dismissal will be at regular times, and EXCEL programs are canceled for the morning only. For more info: hrce.ca

My Yoga 11 classes at CPA High School are quite the artists! I just love all of the beautiful pieces they created on our rock painting activity day 💕 Some students even placed theirs outside of the school today to hopefully bring a smile to people’s faces as they see them 🥰

Hello grade 12s! So...grad rehearsal tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:50 at CPA. You will go to the gym first to line up & do the rehearsal part...then you will pick up your grad gown. There will be signs alphabetical to get your gown. Please share with others. 😊
