Today was a great day! -My lesson about music and the hearing loss community inspired a (hearing loss) senior who hasn’t shared his writing EVER to share. ❤️ -My sophomores asked me to open the #NYT games for free time. Days like this mean my students are learning & loving ELA.

If you know me, I’m finding all of my friend’s kids and sending selfies on the first day. How blessed am I that my Superintendent Karen Engle found my daughter on her first day teaching and sent me a selfie! CCISD Curriculum & Instruction Whitcomb Elementary

Ms. Davis is in her first year of teaching 2nd grade at Whitcomb Elementary. Her mother, Danielle Davis, and sister also teach at Clear Springs HS. Fortunate to have this family of educators creating a legacy in CCISD!

Our own Clear Creek ISD Board Secretary Jay Cunningham is the 2024-2025 President of the Gulf Coast Area Association of School Boards. He leads this volunteer organization that enhances the quality of education for public school children in the Texas Gulf Coast area. #LeadingLeaders
