Workers have the freedom to strike. It is protected by the Charter. Using the notwithstanding clause to suspend workers rights is an affront to democracy.

Just putting this out there… Frigidaire® is a truly horrible company to deal with. They have delivered not 1, but 2 damaged/faulty fridges. Still waiting for an undamaged fridge (This has been going on since September 2023). Customer services is deplorable. Do not recommend.

I’d like some elaboration on the statistic that teachers are taking an “average of 16 sick days”, which is what Minister Lecce attributes the shortage to. I personally don’t think that long term leaves are the same as “sick days”. #OntEd thestar.com/news/ontario/o…
