Today for retelling a story, we played CandyLand. As students went through the game, students had to answer questions to retell the story. Then they went back to the their desks and wrote their answers in complete sentences. #3rdgrade

To make poetry a little more interesting, I turned my classroom into a Starbucks coffee cafe. The students completed a poem study latte! We had to analyze a poem and annotate them in our books. #3rdgrade

Reviewing for our first unit assessment on Friday. Students had to work in teams answering questions around the room…. But LOOKOUT because the floor is lava! Students had to jump on the rocks or find a way around the lava! #3rdgrade
