Our new Y7s love it here. We’re warm, welcoming and friendly. We’re also strict. We think structure liberates. We have an academic curriculum, children learn classical instruments, we promote university unashamedly and have family values. Traditional school, big heart.

The journey Astrea Academy Woodfields has been on over the last 18 months from an Inadequate school to a Good and rapidly improving school is quite remarkable. Family Dining for Class of 2031 is an absolute testament to this and the excellent culture. Unthinkable 18 months a go. Joyful.

I cannot wait to see the magic🪄 ✨ Julie Atkins is working absolute wonders and opening up the world of performing arts to scholars every lunchtime and after school each day. Last year it was the London Globe, where this year?!

It’s an absolute joy to put our highest awards in a cabinet outside our main hall to create a daily sense of aspiration. We found trophies from our predecessor school that commemorated scholars who have passed away, and past sporting triumphs. These are equally proudly displayed.
