Recent work from one of my pupils ClevedenDT. He couldn't decide on a colour to paint so added a few different layers... Well done on getting finished up!

Some nice trainer design work recently ClevedenDT. Project inspired by MrSheridan.org with help from Seth Fowler for a great tutorial on how to draw shoes!

Spent some time cleaning up resources for some of my projects over the weekend. I'm really liking Google for Education Sites to manage them. The only issue is google sites are blocked at my school! Hopefully my newly registered domain name mrarmstrong.tech will be unblocked soon.

Looking forward to another Glasgow City Probationers training day today. Numeracy is so important in the D&T workshop and I'm keen to get some tips on how to include more in my lessons.

Just had a quick 5 minute play with Onshape by PTC. First impressions are very good - I think this could remove a lot of the pain points in a classroom when teaching 3D modelling in Inventor. Does anyone in Glasgow teach with it?

Very strange to be opting in to the Octopus Energy demand side response saving sessions after developing a similar system with Carbon Coop a few years back. Hope the trial is going well on the backend for the octopus developers!
