From Sweet Sixteen down to the Elite Eight. There were some upsets in the first round but we’re all still really excited to see who takes the championship title.

Thank you FCPS ESSL for having us this week! Ss loved scouring the lab for animals from around the world and learning about the changes happening in our National Parks.

Yesterday Ss put on their “poet eyes” to look at everyday objects the way poets do. Scissors turned into sharks!

Did you hear the news?! Last week our Ss learned about embryology and are now anxiously awaiting for 🐥 to 🐣 May 15th is our anticipated Hatch Day. Thank you 4H for sharing this exciting experience with us!

March Madness stretched into April but after weeks of reading and analyzing elements we have a winner! It was a tight race but a well deserved victory. 📚

If you see Mrs. Thomas tomorrow be sure to congratulate her on running in today’s half marathon. A little rain didn’t slow her down! And second grade was there on the sidelines cheering her on ❤️

Today Ss fixed this little mummy’s mistake. They also learned that mistakes are just part of learning 😃

Ss showed off their “array-zing” math skills today by making arrays in multiple ways!

Weather was so nice today so why not practice subtraction outside?!
