This always comes to a head at the beginning of the summer holidays and for changes happening in September. Some great advice as always.

6P had a lovely visit from an ice cream van this morning to spend the last of the money raised from their enterprise project. A huge thank you to Showtime Ice Cream for making their day 🍦

Year 3 have had an excellent morning visiting the Mersey Park Primary allotment for the very first time. We can’t wait to come back and start planting! A big thank you to all those involved in making it so inviting for us, all the hard work has definitely paid off!

A fantastic start to our seasons topic in Year 1 as we complete a round robin of exciting activities! What colours would you spot on the trees during autumn? #seasons #leafprinting

Today Year 4 have visited the Mersey Park allotment. We discovered what fruits and vegetables are growing, or yet to be grown, and spotted the pond life. We also took advantage of the weather calm atmosphere to relax and enjoy our books. What a lovely way to spend peace week!

Eco Team 2024/5. It was a delight to meet the new team today - we will keep them busy this year again with the allotment and the outdoor classroom, as well as other eco events throughout the year. 😊

A mathtastic morning in Year 1 as we count up to 10 and represent our numbers in lots of different ways! Do you know what number comes after 6? #MPPSMaths #numberrepresentation #counting

Wow Year 1, you are working extremely hard on your letter formation this morning! We talked about how to sit in our seat and how to hold our pencil correctly. #MPPSLiteracy #handwriting

Year 5 - Outdoor Classroom- Literacy work on the poem Red Fox by Robert Mcfarlane. In preparation for writing our own poem, we created kenning pairs to describe a fox and noun phrases to describe the places they might be found.

Eco Team update - our new team got to visit the allotment today and help make a wormery. We layered crushed eggshells, chopped up banana skins, bark and teabags. The worms will be added next time. 😊
