Another busy night last Wednesday at Shotts Girls Brigade Explorers did some colouring and made butterfly masks. The Juniors tried their hand at making smoothies with a vast array of ingredients including garlic (this was requested by some Juniors 😂) GB Scotland

The Explorers at 5th Motherwell made New Year resolutions and safely stored them in their jar to be opened next year. They also started a 6-week block of dance. Last week was TikTok, and this week they enjoyed Scottish dancing GB Scotland

The Juniors at 5th Motherwell have been learning about the Good Samaritan and exploring ways we can help others in our everyday lives. They have also been looking at our wonderful world, playing a positive and negative game and getting creative. GB Scotland

Our Brigaders at 5th Motherwell have been exploring online safety, completed their Bible stories display, and helped with all the Burns crafts – including creating their own fantastic pop art inspired by Scottish patter 🎨🏴GB Scotland

Last Wednesday at Shotts Girls Brigade the Brigaders were discussing ‘True Love in the Movies' as part of their Spiritual section of their badgework and madr heart shaped biscuits The Juniors looked at Ramadan & Lent and the Explorers heard about the Hungry Caterpillar. GB Scotland

The girls at 5th Motherwell had a visit from the Scottish Ambulance The girls learned some basic first aid skills and even had the chance to go into the ambulance, which was very exciting! GB Scotland

Over two weeks 1st Allanton Girls Brigade Explorers have continued to explore more about Scotland, focusing particularly on Robert Burns, the girls created their own tartan. GB Scotland

On Wednesday, the Explorers at 1st Bellshill made unicorn headbands inspired by Scotland’s national animal, and the Juniors and Brigaders designed tartan hearts with welcome messages for people arriving in Scotland. They also celebrated Lilly's Birthday with cake. GB Scotland
