I often think to what depth we fix out soils. I had a look at a long term trial at the University of Missouri farm where hard pan was induced at 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 cm depths. Soyabean crop showing water stress at all but 90 cm. Thanks @DPIRDWA GRDC for supporting my trip.
