‘Consequences’ oil on panel, 24x36ins

Both were twice bisque fired now. Touch up, oxides and glazing. Then glaze firing up to 1240C. Back to the studio after 3 days. Three small progresses, one disaster. I numb my sensitivity to protect myself; I feel less of everything. But I should learn how to let it out, too.

Phyllida Barlow has died. I so admired and respected Barlow. I am saddened thinking of all the work she destroyed because she had nowhere to store completed works or buyers for it. Saddened that she was only recognised In later life. Her contributions to art and teaching lives on
