Great couple of hours with Dawn from Royal Society of Chemistry this afternoon! It was great to hear about all the fab resources and support that the society provides for teachers, and to try out a few microscale experiments including this one on indicators 🧪 School of Education

Placement 1 ✅ 10 serial days and 4 weeks at Falkirk High complete! It's been an amazing start to my teaching journey, surrounded by the support of the brilliant science team and working with pupils who made my first ever lessons a joy. Now for summer ☀️

An interesting session with The ASE and RBGE Education this afternoon. Looking at plant taxonomy and ways to implement it into lessons. It was great to try using field guides to identify some wild flowers, and look at the differences between dandelion leaves. 🪴 University of Stirling
