You never really appreciate someone until they are gone… unfortunately, by that time it’s too late.

We have always had SEL in schools. It was called recess, unstructured play, and classes like Music, Art, Physical Education, etc. but they have been systemically taken away or reduced because some have decided testing is more important than learning.

Now I’m curious: Teachers, RT this if you have been called “mom” by students🤔❤️

No matter if you are staying or leaving education, thank you for all that you've done for kids. You matter. You made a difference.

America: the ONLY nation that thinks the solution to improving education and making schools safe is to remove books from schools and add guns.

I don’t know about you but I believe every child deserves a standing ovation at least once in their life.

Started my lesson of Introduction to Procedural Writing for my grade 5 with explaining the meaning of procedural writing and the use of transition words. Due to ramadan instead of writing out a recipe, we learnt how to plant a flower. It was a great day!
