Last week was science week Richmond Academy and in Coral Class we completed a super STEM activity all about finger prints. We used our observation skills and noticed that all of our finger prints are different and have different patterns. How interesting it was! ✨

On Monday, Year 3 had an insight into what life was like in Ancient Egyptian times. They had a fantastic time with Historic Workshops exploring ancient artefacts, being a scribe, playing ancient Egyptian games and learning about the process of mummification 🌟 Richmond Academy

What a fantastic afternoon our Children’s Leadership Team have had meeting the new Mayor of Oldham Zahid Chauhan, OBE,FRCGP ! They loved visiting the council chambers, asking lots of questions and having a tour of the Mayor’s Parlour. The children left feeling very inspired ✨Richmond Academy
Earlier today, children from Richmond Academy and Westwood Academy were invited to meet #Oldham’s new Mayor for the very first time in his parlour. During their visit, pupils had the opportunity to ask questions to Cllr Zahid Chauhan, OBE,FRCGP about his new role, the borough and loads more!
