4 months of gastro done ☑️ not sure how the time has flown so quickly. Tremendous amount learnt, some very busy & bleedy on calls, but the best team to learn with 🥹 onto general surgery next 😅

Over half way through general surgery ☑️ the challenging days have been hard…but I’ve been lucky enough to scrub into lots of cases too 😅 definitely still is my happy place and excited to develop these skills further 😁 for now…more nights wait for me 🤓

Patient had ileus. Explained what ileus is. Let me finish explanation and thanked me. Starts throwing medical jargon back at me?? “Haha, I’m one of the medical consultants” 💀

Last day on general surgery ☑️ (missing a lot of lovely faces!). It was fast paced, busy, and everything I wanted surgery to be 🤩 lucky to have had such a wonderful team over the last 4 months. Excited for what’s to come 🙏🏼

Another fabulous @ACPGBI😅I remember this being the first conference I presented at as a med student so am very fond. Was great to share work on diversity data and exciting groundwork on hydration monitoring 🤓 Lots of exciting talks and very luck to have a great team!#ACPGBI2025
