According to the Prime Minister's Office, PM Mark Carney and President Donald Trump spoke on Sunday. PM and POTUS agreed negotiations would resume There was also a call between Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne and  U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
