Tom Tellez on Stride Development- During lunch in Houston years ago Tom shared a packet of notes he had, and much of it was not included in his recent book. What was fascinating was his thoughts on acceleration and top speed, much different than the contemporary work today. 🧵

Hard hat mentality! Andrew Willemson had the best 6 races in a 2.5 hour time frame I have ever witnessed and just a sophomore! 100, 10.77 and 10.84 - 200, 21.90 and 22.40 and solid splits in both the 4x 100 and 4x200!

Another historic day at the Conference meet on Friday! KV, David and Andrew in the 100 and 200. 10.77, 10.77 and 10.78, 21.90, 21.93 and 22.30! Camden has the 2nd fastest hurdle time ever (14.85) and Ethan with a phenomenal 50.65 in the 400!

You lose one of the best sprinters on the heels of the STATE Meet, David McMullen David gave it a valiant try during warm ups, but unfortunately, he was not ready. We have two other athletes step up and help charge us to 2nd place in the 4x100 and 4x200! #speedhaven
